The Definition of Comfort

The Definition of Comfort

This is a sponsored post with Hanes.

Out of curiosity, I Googled the actual definition of the word comfort and found the following:

noun 1. A state of physical ease and freedom from pain or constraint. Also: things that contribute to physical ease and well-being.

I am at the point of life where I’m definitely a connoisseur of comfort. When I was invited to the White House and to a press trip with Disney Parks, I was excited about both opportunities and knew I needed fresh duds to up the confidence factor.

I entered my arch-nemesis, aka the mall and tried on a myriad of expensive and sharp new clothing. I searched high and low, but knew in the end that if I wasn’t comfortable, I would fidget all day and it would be a detriment to the one thing we all need to be successful at anything: confidence.

In the end, I found nice new clothes, but I centered everything around comfort because I expected long days, and I’m so glad I did, especially on the White House trip.

For my sons (ages 9 and 4), we received:

  • 3-pack of Hanes® Ultimate X-Temp boys boxer briefs
