Super Mario Goombas

These were so easy! I made the Goombas by airing up brown balloons and attaching them to paper plates with tape. I drew Goomba faces on them using a black sharpie.

For the feet, I took small sized brown paper plates, cut them in half, and taped them back together at an angle.

I used a hole punch to cut two overlapping holes in the plates, and pulled the tie of the balloon through the hole and taped it down to secure it.

We made a total of 30 Goombas, so I had to employ the help of my own personal air supply čÖé

The feet are very helpful, they weigh the balloons down enough so they won’t blow around all over the yard too much and it keeps them in place long enough to stay relatively close together and get stomped!

These were a definite highlight of the party, I wish we had made more!
